Kasganj: The largest gaushala of the district is located at Muslim dominated village Bhargain. Muslims are also coming forward to serve the cows who are given shelter in the Gaushala. Someone is planting trees near gaushala while others are lending their helping hand in other ways.

Abdus Salam son of Nawab Shair has donated 5 beegha field for the cows. 4 months ago he had sowed jawar and maze in his field which is now ready to be harvested. He has donated the green fodder of his field to the cows.

A dozen workers of Gaushala arrived at the field of Abdus Salam and collected the fodder from his field for the cows. There are over 200 cows in the gaushala. The government gives Rs 30 per day for each cow but the amount is not sufficient for their upkeep.
