European Economics Preview: Eurozone Industrial Production Data Due

Industrial production from euro area is due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Germany's wholesale price data is due. Also, Statistics Norway publishes foreign trade data for June.

At 3.00 am ET, Spain's final inflation data for June is due. Consumer price inflation is seen at 0.4 percent in June, the weakest since September 2016 and unchanged from the flash estimate.

The Hungarian Central Statistical Office releases final industrial production figures for May.

In the meantime, industrial output figures are due from Turkey. Output is forecast to shrink 2 percent on year in May after easing 4 percent in April.

At 4.30 am ET, Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee member Gertjan Vlieghe speaks in London.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat is scheduled to issue euro area industrial output data for May. Production is forecast to fall 1.5 percent on year, following a 0.4 percent drop in April.
