Ghaziabad: Man ‘sets mother on fire’
A 34 year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly setting his mother on fire when she tried to stop him from drinking. Police said the woman has sustained 65% burn injuries and her condition is stated to be critical.

GHAZIABAD: A 34 year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly setting his mother on fire when she tried to stop him from drinking.
Police said the woman has sustained 65% burn injuries and her condition is stated to be critical.
According to the police, the accused, Mohan Lal, set Bhagwan Devi (58) on fire after sprinkling petrol on her. “The incident took place at Sangam Vihar Colony in Khoda area around 7.30 pm on Wednesday.The woman was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Delhi and her condition is critical,” a police officer said.
Police said the woman has sustained 65% burn injuries and her condition is stated to be critical.
