Four persons fell victim to cyber cons and lost over Rs 1.32 lakh in separate cases in the city on Friday.

LUCKNOW: Four persons fell victim to cyber cons and lost over Rs 1.32 lakh in separate cases in the city on Friday.
Arvind Kumar Mittal (65), a differently-abled retired superintendent engineer, got a call from a man who took his account details posing as a bank employee for upgrading his ATM card. He also asked him to share the OTP. Within minutes, Rs 19,996 were debited from his account.
Anam Arshad, an engineering student, was conned of Rs 49,752 on the pretext of returning the refund amount that she had spent on e-commerce website.

Vimal Kumar Chaubey (31), a businessman, was duped of Rs 35,000 by a man who posed as customer. He sent Chaubey a link through which he said that he will make payment. When Chaubey clicked on the link, the amount was deducted from his account. Satyarupa Singh was tricked into exchanging her ATM card with a fake one by a man who later withdrew Rs 28,000 from her account.
