PATNA: The Patna police on Saturday arrested two more youths including the main accused in the alleged molestation of a 16-year-old girl which took place near Mangal Talab under Chowk police station area in Patna city on Thursday.
On Friday, police had arrested one of the youths who was involved in the case but he turned out to be a minor following which he was sent to remand home.
Patna ASP Balram Kumar Chaudhary said, two more were arrested on Saturday in connection with the incident.

“These two are also minor,” he said adding the main accused had earlier been to remand home in connection with a theft case.
“The main accused had pointed a country made pistol at the victim while molesting her,” he said.
Chaudhary said that one more youth is yet to be arrested in connection with the case. “He is also a minor,” the ASP said.
He said that three arrests had been made till now after the girl identified the youths who were involved in her molestion.
The victim went to RPM College near Mangal Talab for taking admission in class-XI and was returning to her residence located at Malsalami on foot when at least four-five youths on separate bikes had accosted her and attempted to molest her after dragging her inside a lane.

However, the youths fled the scene when the victim had resisted vehemently only to intercept her later again near a secluded place where they tore her clothes and threatened her by brandishing a pistol.
Sources said that after incident, none had come up to help the girl out of fear even though she raised alarm. “A seven-year-old boy later provided her a piece of cloth to cover her,” sources said. Sources said that the incident took place between 3pm to 3.30pm.
The girl later went to Chowk police station and on the basis of her complaint, an FIR was lodged on Friday.
Looking at the seriousness of the incident, SSP Garima Malik reached the police station on Friday to look into the investigation of the case made till now.
