Kartik Aaryan has begun shooting for Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh in Lucknow. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.
After wrapping up Imtiaz Ali's Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan is now in 'nawabo ke shehar' Lucknow for Pati Patni Aur Woh. The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor, who is collaborating with filmmaker Mudassar Aziz for the first time, got a warm welcome on the sets of the film.
Kartik took to Instagram to share a cute picture from the sets. In the photo, there is a sweet message for Kartik, "Best Wishes for Pati, Patni aur Woh."
Kartik Aaryan has stepped into the shoes of late Sanjeev Kumar for Pati Patni Aur Woh. The actor essays the role of Chintu Tyagi who falls in love with a girl despite being married.
Kartik earlier posted a picture of him jetting off to Lucknow for the shooting of Pati Patni Aur Woh. "Chintu Tyagi chale Lucknow!! #PatiPatniAurWoh kal se," he captioned the photo.
Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the 1978 film starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta. Apart from Kartik, the film also stars Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.
Ananya Panday, who will share screen space with Kartik for the first time, has called him a selfless actor.
Talking about the experience of working with Kartik, she earlier told a portal, "We shot three days in February, that was one short schedule that we did. But I'm going to Lucknow and I'm going for two months so, I'm super excited. I shot with him, I didn't get a chance to shoot with Bhumi yet. But he is such a good actor, his command over the language is amazing so he improvises really well."
"And such a selfless actor, he thinks about how to make the scene better rather than just his own lines. Also, he is just fun to be around, just makes me laugh all the time," added the 20-year-old actress.
A few weeks ago at India Today Mind Rocks 2019, Ananya Panday opened up on her upcoming film. "In Pati Patni Aur Woh, I am playing a slightly older character. The dynamics are crazy and also the casting," she said.
Pati Patni Aur Woh is set to hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
