The RISE job fair was attended by as many as 900 people
The first of its kind in the country, ‘Reimagining Inclusion for Social Equity’ (RISE) job fair held in Bengaluru on July 12 saw a footfall of 900 people. Organised by Pride Circle, co-founded by Srini Ramaswamy and Ramkrishna Sinha, the event aims at giving direction to create a more inclusive industry and society.
Some 45 companies participated in the fair, with more than 300 candidates from the community meeting with 35 ‘inclusive’ organisations.
In attendance were three global leaders – Selisse Berry, Founder Out & Equal; Ali Potia, Partner Mckinsey; and Dr J Harrison, ThoughtWorks UK, besides pioneers in workplace inclusion in India – Keshav Suri and Parmesh Shahani.
RISE also witnessed participation from corporates, candidates, NGOs/CBOs and LGBTQIA+-owned businesses.
