"Your movie in its essence has immsensely motivated me to join the forces and I can only imagine so many other people like me who got similarly motivated. Based on the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army on seven terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control on September 29, 2016, in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month, Uri: The Surgical Strike hit the right chord with audience and critics.

Such was the josh around the film that it not only entered the Rs 200-crore club in a few days of its release but also got a roaring response from every quarter of life.

Starring Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina, Uri: The Surgical Strike hit the screens on January 11.
