AGRA: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped at a remote village of Agra district in UP.
According to the girl, on Thursday evening she was abducted by gang of men in car and raped. The girl claimed to identify one person, Vijay who runs mobile repairing shop in Kasba area of Jaithpur police jurisdiction of Agra district.
“I was heading along with my sister for home. She was some distance away from me, when few men abducted me in the car and made me unconscious.
I don’t know where they took me, but after sexual assault, they dumped me at unknown location. I was recovered by my parents,” she added.
Though contrary to girl’s claim, station house officer of Jaithpur, Virender Pal Singh said, “According to FIR lodged on Saturday by victim’s father, girl was sexually assaulted on Friday. Two men identified as Vijay and Vakil have been booked under IPC section 376 D and POCSO Act.”
“Vijay owns a mobile repair shop in Jaithpur, while Vakil runs a small diary from where the victim bought milk. She knew the two accused. On Friday, she went to Vijay’s shop and the three went for ride in a car, where she was allegedly raped by Vakil. The allegation against Vijay is being probed. After the FIR, both the accused are absconding and our teams are searching for them,” said SHO Jaithpur.
The girl was sent for medical examination and we are waiting for medical report.
