Lotte Duty Free secures prestigious cybersecurity certificate in duty free first

SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has become the first duty free retailer to be awarded an ISMS-P (Information Security and Privacy Management System) certificate by the Korea Internet Development Agency.

In order to secure the certificate, which is considered to be one of the highest levels of recognition of cybersecurity in South Korea, Lotte had to satisfy 102 security requirements.

The requirements included 80 system security requirements and 22 personal security requirements.

Lotte said it developed a robust security management system accounting for information security identification, vulnerability checks, risk assessment and risk management planning for its online presence.

A spokesperson for Lotte commented: “Our Information Security Supervisor has once again proved the security stability of our online and offline services by acquiring the ISMS-P certificate.”
