Super 30 box office collection Day 4: Will Hrithik Roshan film survive first weekday?
After a good opening weekend, Hrithik Roshan film Super 30 saw a dip in its collection on the first weekday. The film earned Rs 6.92 crore on Monday, taking the total collection to Rs 57.68 crore.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures on Twitter. He mentioned in a tweet, “#Super30 is steady at multiplexes of urban centers [Day 4], which is driving its biz… Mass circuits remain ordinary/weak… Eyes ₹ 75 cr [+/-] total in Week 1… Fri 11.83 cr, Sat 18.19 cr, Sun 20.74 cr, Mon 6.92 cr. Total: ₹ 57.68 cr. India biz.”
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is based on the life and work of mathematician Anand Kumar, who runs a programme called Super 30. In the programme, Anand Kumar helps brilliant but underprivileged children prepare for the IIT entrance examination.
Earlier, talking about Super 30, Anand Kumar said the film will help in changing the image of Bihar.
“Due to some movies made on Bihar, the state got a negative image. But Super 30 showcases the hard work and dedication of people from the underprivileged families of Bihar. That will bring a lot of happiness to us,” the 46-year-old said.

"#Super30 witnesses approx 40% drop on Monday compared to Friday. Film rakes ? 7.10-7.20 cr nett. Total- ? 57.86 cr nett. Strong hold is crucial in coming days to post a decent lifetime collection," trade analyst Sumit Kadel wrote on Twitter.
"This is a kind of film (#Super30) which deserves a lot of appreciation. I am Happy. I feel that this is one of the best performances of @iHrithik, kids have done incredibly amazing work and and I feel it deserves (the success)" Mrunal Thakur said in an interview to Bollywood Hungama.

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur took to Twitter and wrote, "Watching Hindi cinema in the theatres is a cathartic experience for me. I sit quietly in the theatre hoping no one notices my tears flowing. #super30 did that to me. It’s such a good story (and true) and a completely different @iHrithik Roshan’s performance overwhelmed me."

Anand Kumar took to Twitter to express his emotions after he watched the film Super 30, which is based on him and his institute. The mathematician took to Twitter and wrote, "I saw the film #super30 with the entire team. I was truly overwhelmed with emotions to see my friendly relations with my father and the selflessness of my brother Pranav to do anything for me even at times not caring for his life. Despite trying, I could not hold back my tears."

Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote on Twitter, ".@iHrithik 's #Super30 holds well on Monday.. Sees a 40% drop on Monday, compared to Friday..Early Estimates for Monday (Day 4) All-India Nett is around ? 7.50 Crs.."
Anand Kumar posted on Twitter, "Thanks a lot to CM Nitish Kumar ji and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi ji making ‘Super 30’ tax free. It will help more and more people see the film. @iHrithik @RelianceEnt @NGEMovies @Shibasishsarkar #super30."
