Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi K20 Pro smartphone in India today.
And now, just hours before the launch, the company has posted a tweet, revealing a gold variant of the Redmi K20 Pro and its price.
Notably, the special model will cost Rs. 4.8 lakh and will be unveiled in the launch event itself.

Going by the teaser image, the upcoming special model has a gold finished back panel along with an alphabet 'K' studded with diamonds. However, the other details about this variant haven't been revealed.

Design
To recall, the Redmi K20 Pro features an all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera. On the backside, the gradient finished panel houses triple cameras and an LED flash.
Further, the smartphone sports a 6.39-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.

On the imaging front, the Redmi K20 Pro houses triple rear cameras comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, a 13MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor, and another 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens.

Moreover, the main camera supports 4K videos at upto 60fps while the selfie camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core chipset, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 256GB storage.

Furthermore, it offers all standard sensors and connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, and headphone jack.

In India, the special edition Redmi K20 Pro will cost Rs. 4.8 lakh. The standard Redmi K20 Pro model is likely to start at Rs. 24,999 for the base-end 6GB/64GB storage variant and will go upto Rs. 29,999 for the top-end model with 8GB/256GB configuration.
