Delgado Community College is offering a four and a half month cybersecurity course beginning in August.
The evening courses are designed to provide workforce training for an increased demand in IT specialists who help protect computer networks from malware and cyberattacks, a news release said.
Participants will receive an industry-based credential that allows them to enter entry-level positions, along with nine credit hours if they enroll in the school’s computer information technology associate degree program.
The fee is $500, and students can earn stipends during the training. For more information, contact Troy Lynn Baldwin at 671-5670 or [email protected].
