Hrithik Roshan to Sara Ali Khan, Bollywood celebs pay tribute to their teachers on Guru Purnima

Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan, Sara Ali Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Randeep Hooda, among others, took to social media to thank their teachers on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

It was Guru Purnima yesterday, a day to celebrate teacher-student relationship, and Bollywood celebs were not left behind to wish their teachers on this special day. From Hrithik Roshan to Sara Ali Khan, the actors took to social media to thank their teachers.

Sara Ali Khan shared a picture with her dance teacher and wrote, "Thank you Shubhada Ji for trying to inculcate routine, discipline, dedication and love for our art form in me. Thank you for constantly inspiring me, sharing with me, and showing me that positivity with practice is what leads to growth. Thank you for being you (sic)."

Hrithik Roshan, who himself plays a teacher in his latest release Super 30, shared a picture with Anand Kumar, whose role Hrithik is playing in the film. He wrote, "Aaj Guru Purnima ke avasar par, ek baat dohrana chahunga, gyaan baatne se aur badhta hai. Anand ji aur unke jaise sabhi guruo ko mera naman. (On the occasion of Guru Purnima, I want to reiterate that knowledge increases with sharing of it. I express my gratitude to Anandji and all the teachers like him.)"

Randeep Hooda, who considers Naseeruddin Shah his teacher, shared a black and white picture of himself with the veteran actor. He wrote, "To the man from whom I learnt so much about the craft just to know that you can never stop learning #GuruPurnima #Naseer #WaitingForGodot #Lucky #Pozzo."

Amitabh Bachchan, on the other hand, shared the popular Kabir Das doha Guru Govind and wrote, "Greetings on the auspicious Day of Guru Purnima."
