Anand Mahindra promises to ban plastic bottles from boardrooms

Anand Mahindra recently shared a picture of a meeting on Twitter. A woman responded to his tweet saying, "I think the board room should have Steel Bottle instead of Plastic bottle... Just an observation sir."

Mahindra was quick to respond, "Plastic bottles will be banished. We were all embarrassed to see them that day."

We like it or not, there is a bit of plastic all around us - our kitchens, homes, cars, office desks, gyms.Plastic bottles are a common sight not only in boardrooms but also in other places, simply because they are light and durable. But if you knew that a plastic bottle takes anywhere between 450-1000 years to decompose, would you still look at it the same way?
