The floods in Assam has shocked the entire nation and till now has already taken 17 lives. The situation to seems to be getting worse with time as the water level is on the rise, displacing thousands of people.
Global sensation Priyanka Chopra took to social media to urge her fans to come out in support of the people of Assam, who have been affected by the flood.
Taking to Twitter, the 'Baywatch' actress wrote, "Extremely devasted by all the news coming in from #Assam and other parts of India.It’s heartbreaking to read about the displacement and loss of life. My prayers with those affected."
