Most people would agree that Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen is doing pretty well for himself these days.

The English actor just finished a run in a record-breakingly popular TV show as Theon Greyjoy, his IMDb page is packed with credits, and last night he was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Still, it wasn't always this way. At least not if you listen to his sister, singer/songwriter Lily Allen.

Yep, that's right: On her debut 2006 album, Alright, Still, Lily Allen recorded a song titled "Alfie," which was basically all about her little brother's weed-smoking habits.

Here's a snapshot of the lyrics:

"Ohhh, oh deary me My little brother's in his bedroom smoking weed. I tell him he should get up 'cause it's nearly half past three. He can't be bothered 'cause high on THC."

And here's the music video, which depicts poor old Alfie as a stoned puppet.

"When I wrote 'Alfie,' nobody really knew who I was," Lily Allen told Pitchfork back in 2006. "At first he was really upset about it, because he thought that I was just pointing out all of his bad points and attacking him."

Still, the song seems to have done its job. Alfie's career is currently taking off, and judging by Lily Allen's reaction to the Emmy nominations on Tuesday, she couldn't be prouder.

"My baby fucking brother is nominated for an Emmy," she wrote in an Instagram story. "No one deserves it more. I am so fucking proud of him even without an Emmy nom, but OMG he has an Emmy nom. GO ALF!!!!!!!!"
