Taking on the ultra-premium OnePlus 7 Pro, Xiaomi has launched the all-new Redmi K20 Pro in India.

The new contender takes on the popular OnePlus flagship with a premium all-screen-all-glass design, 48MP triple-lens rear camera, and flagship-grade internals.

But is the budget-friendly Xiaomi flagship better than the OnePlus 7 Pro which has actually raised the bar for Apple and Samsung?

Here's our comparison.

Design

Both the handsets offer a notch-less, bezel-less all-screen design with rounded edges, square-ish pop-up selfie cameras, a metal-glass sandwiched body, and gradient finish on the rear.

However, the OnePlus 7 Pro offers curved screen edges along with built-in liquid-cooling system while the Redmi K20 Pro settles for a flat screen and a double-sided heat dissipation structure.

Pricing: The key factor
Fact

The OnePlus 7 Pro starts at Rs. 48,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and goes upto Rs. 57,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant. In comparison, the Redmi K20 Pro costs Rs. 27,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and Rs. 30,999 for the top-end model with 8GB/256GB configuration.

How things stack up!
Our result

With a simply brilliant display, respectable cameras, and unmatchable speed, the OnePlus 7 Pro is a top-notch performer.

In contrast, the Xiaomi handset does miss out on a higher resolution screen, bundled fast charger, and faster storage.

But given the steep price difference, we'd have to side with the Redmi K20 Pro which checks all the right boxes for even the most-demanding smartphone needs.
