Gorakhpur Antyodaya Express derails near Maharashtra's Igatpuri

MUMBAI: A trolley of second coach from rear of 12598 CSMT-Gorakhpur Antyodaya Express derailed between Kasara and Igatpuri ghat section early Thursday morning. No casualty was reported though.
Central Railway chief spokesperson Sunil Udasi, while confirming the incident said, “Nobody was injured in the mishap.” He further said that the middle and Up lines were available for traffic.

Sources said that some of the long distance trains on the route could be delayed due to the incident.
Meanwhile, the Central Railway provided tea, biscuits and water to the stranded passengers. All the passengers were later shifted in a special train, officials said.
