Democracy in danger in Telangana, says Malli Bhatti Vikramarka

HYDERABAD: Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Malli Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday expressed concern that democracy is in danger in Telangana. Addressing media after the assembly session, he said TRS had snatched 12 MLAs of Telangana Congress forcibly. “Despite having many issues, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is only inclined to listen to his own speeches and not bothered about other issues,” he said.
MLA D Sridhar Babu said the defection of MLAs is an ongoing court case, so how can speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy take decisions. “The CM does not have focus on people but only interested in municipal polls” Sridhar Babuadded.
He demanded state extend the assembly session as there is a need to discuss the issues.
