GHS Thüvopisü gets new school building through RMSA
Kohima, July 19 (MExN): The new school building of Government High School Thüvopisü under Phek district, constructed under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) was inaugurated today.
It was inaugurated Nagaland’s school education director Wonthongo Tsopoe.
Speaking on the occasion, Tsopoe called upon the teachers and students to use the building wisely to scale new heights.
He also urged upon the teachers to rededicate themselves and give their best to impart quality education to the students, as education is the only weapon to change the society.
He informed that the department is awarding various categories of rewards to the best performing government school to have competitive spirit among the government school.
Tsopoe inspected the Community Hostel constructed with a contribution from each households and well wishers within the village and assured to look into the matter.
Short speech was delivered by Theodore Yanthan, ADC Chozuba.
The programme was chaired by Thungrhomo Odyuo, SDEO, Chozuba while welcome address was delivered by Kuvesezo Tetseo, acting headmaster, GHS Thüvopisü.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Vesathu Dozo, chairman, school managing board, Thüvopisü.
