• People are vaping in their wedding photos now.
  • Twitter is reeling from the news.

Y’all, I know we said it couldn’t get worse than the Cats trailer or Miley Cyrus labeling her twerking videos with Megan Thee Stallion’s #HotGirlSummer movement, but some newlyweds just said, “Hold my beer.” Er, actually, in this case, they said, “Hold my vape.” No lie, people are vaping in their wedding photos now.

While scrolling Twitter today, some 5.6 thousand users stumbled upon a tweet that will define this generation. Twitter user @CuteCherryBitch tweeted “Did y’all know vaping wedding photos were a real thing? Well...now you do” along with four photos of couples who couldn’t resist ripping their Juuls during their wedding photo shoots.

BTW, this isn’t exactly new news—this tweet was passed around back in February when it was deemed the latest wedding trend—but it looks like a lot of people missed that memo and are now finally aware of these photos too.

The pics are highly upsetting, IMO, but if you can stomach it, they’re right this way:

If you clicked through those pics super fast and were like, “Ugh, that’s it? I wanna see more smoke clouds and wedding gowns!” then you’re in luck! (I’m also worried for you.) But there are way more out there! Enjoy:

Honestly, what you think about these photos says a lot about you as a person! But no shame if you approve! Clearly a lot of other people do too! With that in mind, please answer my to-vape-or-not-to-vape poll. I wanna see something.

If you thought the photos were the beginning and end of your vape-wedding dreams/nightmares, you’d be mistaken. As Brides pointed out, there are vaping wedding planners now and full-on etiquette guides for “how to vape in style at a wedding.” Apparently, there are also important styling choices to consider if you plan to have a vape-filled wedding: You gotta pick dark backdrops so the vape clouds can contrast nicely, duh.

2019, everybody!
