So which destination is the interior designer's favourite?
Here she talks about her first holiday in the Algarve, her favourite hotel in Hong Kong and more...
FIRST HOLIDAY?
Albufeira, in the Algarve, where all I can recall is a beach, bucket and spade. My parents used to take us on holiday every summer, Easter and Christmas.
NEVER TRAVEL WITHOUT?
My music. P.Diddy shared some great playlists with me so I have them with me all the time. My iPhone, obviously, as my life is on there; and my Melissa Odabash wardrobe if going on a beach holiday.
IDEAL TRAVEL COMPANION?
For a city shopping break, definitely a girl friend, but if it’s a beach break I love travelling with my partner John and my daughter and son-in-law and grandson.
FAVOURITE PLACE?
I adore Italy, and particularly the Positano coast which is hard to beat. I love the food, the sea, the people and the shopping all rolled into one.
Positano is one of Kelly's favourite places. She loves the food, the sea and the people here
FAVOURITE HOTEL?
A city hotel would be The Upper House in Hong Kong or The PuLi Hotel & Spa in Shanghai which are wonderful. For a beach break, the One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives is pretty spectacular.
PERFECT HOLIDAY PASTIME?
Sunbathing and swimming! I also love training while on holiday as there are no time restrictions. There’s nothing better to clear the mind than running along a white sandy beach.
