"How we obtained a foothold in the African and Egyptian markets"

In recent years, the demand for high-quality exported citrus in China has been increasing. After its success in South Africa, Reemoon began to develop the fruit sorting system market in Egypt four years ago. Reemoon is a leading international company that produces and markets fruit sorting machines.

“Local packing houses in Egypt have a strong demand for blemished product sorting. Reemoon has launched a new generation of high-performance 4.1 electronic blemish sorting systems, which can accurately identify the blemishes on the surface of the citrus, and conduct analysis and sampling based on the different types of blemishes pre-identified by packing houses, to meet the individual needs of each customer.

More astonishingly, the Reemoon electronic sorting system can also sort fruit such as oranges with lossless technology in terms of its internal quality and sweetness. The outstanding performance, all-around service, and competitive pricing are widely appreciated by local packing houses, leading Reemoon to increasingly become the preferred brand in sorting systems by the local fruit industry.

With the help of the Reemoon’s sorting lines, which offer excellent value for money, more small and medium-sized packing houses have managed to reduce their investment thresholds and realize their dreams of purchasing, sorting, packaging, and export integration.”

Reemoon is happy to help customers grow their businesses. Mr. Ahmed Attia, General Manager of Egypt Royal Fruit, purchased a 4-line large-scale sorting machine with the exterior quality sorting function in 2017. Sorted and packaged citrus has become very popular in the Chinese market, attracting more and more Chinese importers and exporters. This is a good example of high-quality investment bringing great returns.

Mr. Ahmed Attia of Royal Fruit said: “The quality of the Reemoon sorting machine is good, and its price has lifted the investment pressure, reduced the cost and increased our competitiveness.” Mr. Attia purchased another four, 6-line sorting machines from Reemoon in 2018 and became a top enterprise in the Egyptian citrus export industry in 2019.

Another giant in the agricultural field of Egypt, Sonac Society National Du Commerce, also purchased the Green Meng 6-line sorting system, which offered them superior performance, reliable quality, and excellent cost-effectiveness. It achieved huge returns after one fruit season. In June 2019, the customer again ordered a 6-line citrus sorting system to prepare for the next season.

John Lee explained that the success of Reemoon in the Egyptian market was thanks to the localization strategy adopted by Reemoon International. Machinery manufacturing company M.K. Engineering Industry is responsible for the sales and after-sales in Egypt, and has improved the trust in the Reemoon brand among customers and after-sales services. Secondly, the post-sales team from Reemoon and the local team effectively implement the policy of “reaching the customer's on-site for post-sales service within one hour”, ensuring that customers don’t have to worry about the packaging process during the peak season.

“In the future, we hope to help more packing houses in Egypt, the Mediterranean, Europe, South America, Australia and other regions to use high-quality fruit sorting systems at an affordable cost to improve the global overall post-harvest fruit processing level, create more revenue for local packing houses and fruit farmers, and let consumers enjoy more high quality fruit, sorted by Reemoon sorting systems.”
