Alaphilippe does it again
It's fair to say that, by extending his lead, Julian Alaphilippe exceeded expectations today - again!
There are more days in the mountains to come, but the maillot jaune keeps coming up with the answers whenever people doubt whether he can sustain his form.
Pinot in the mix
Thibault Pinot is on the podium and taking the plaudits for the stage win - he is firmly in the battle for the yellow jersey too.
The Frenchman is up to sixth overall, three minutes and 12 seconds behind his compatriot, Julian Alaphilippe.
Thomas stays second
Geraint Thomas stays second overall in the general classification, two minutes and two seconds behind Julian Alaphilippe.
Nairo Quintana rolls over the line. Not a good day for him.
There are lots of riders still out on the Col du Tourmalet though.
