Did KCR give fake rule so far, asks Dattatraya

Hyderabad: Bandaru Dattatreya Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader today strongly criticized KCR Chief Minister for stating that his real Governance would begin from August 15 and wondered whether the present Governance by him was fake and whether there was any Governance at all.

Addressing a press conference here today Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya along with senior BJP leaders Rajeshwar Rao, Premendar Reddy, Sudhakar Sharma and others he questioned him to state whether he would accept that there was no Governance so far.

Referring to KCR’S Statement that an MP had to pay a bribe in HMDA and similar was the case with Municipal Corporations Mr. Dattatreya questioned whether KCR had not noticed all this during the last several years. Stating that there was corruption everywhere under KCR’S rule and that all projects seeped under Corruption whether it was Bageerathi, Kaleshwaram, etc he pointed out that there was corruption everywhere and that the BJP will expose all that and campaign on the same among people.

Mr. Dattatreya also pointed out that the New Municipal Act was draconian and that it should be recalled he said that the New Municipal Act was totally unconstitutional. The bill is against the Constitutional amendment of 73 and 74 act of local bodies Here the State Government has taken over the process of elections in the name of the new Act. He said that the BJP has requested the Governor to intervene and recall the Act. The Unconstitutional things should be examined removed and again sent to the Assembly.

Mr. Dattatreya said that so far 50 writ petitions are filed in the High Court. He questioned why was the Government in a hurry about the Municipal Elections. The Government should first rectify the act and then go ahead with elections he added.
