Man forces child to say “Jai Shri Ram”, Owaisi retweets video

Hyderabad: Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) retweeted a video which was views more than 1.26 lakh times. In the video, a person can be heard forcing a child to say, “Jai Shri Ram”.

The location of the incident is not known.

The child whose hands were tied to a chair can be seen crying.

It may be mentioned that a netizen by name Vijaita Singh had tweeted the video and wrote, ‘even kids are not spared’.

In the past, many incidents were reported wherein the persons were beaten and allegedly forced to say ‘Jai Sri Ram’.

Recently, the incident of lynching of Tabrez Ansari which took place in Jharkhand had triggered row. Many politicians had also raised their voice showing concern over the rising incidents of mob-lynching.

There are also reports that a year after the Supreme Court directed the government to enact a law to deal with the rising cases of mob lynching in the country, the Centre is working out such legislation and is likely to introduce it in the ongoing session of Parliament.
