India spinner R Ashwin is a dangerous proposition for batsmen as it is. At the 2019 Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), Ashwin has sought to make the job even tougher for batsmen with a new and unique bowling action that got fans talking and raving about it.

R Ashwin, who captains Dindigul Dragons in the TNPL, had bowled with an unusual bowling action in a match against Madurai Panthers on Monday.

During the 100th match of the TNPL between Dindigual Dragons and Madurai Panthers, R Ashwin who is known for playing with the batsman's mind, was seen bowling with his left hand hidden behind his back till the last moment and bowled the delivery in motion that exaggerated flight of the ball which resulted in making batsman losing his wicket in the deep.

R Ashwin was bowling the final over of the match with 32 runs to defend. He conceded just two runs in that over and also picked two crucial wickets. Ashwin starred with the ball to return figures of 3 for 16 as Dindigul Dragons thrashed Madurai Panthers by 80 runs.

This was not the first time R Ashwin baffled batsmen with his wizardry. Before this, he left the spectators perplexed while playing for the Dindigul Dragons against Chepauk Super Gillies in the season-opener TNPL 2019 on July 19.

With Chepauk needing 17 runs off just two balls to win on Friday, Ashwin decided bamboozle the opposition with his skills.

R Ashwin delivered the ball without a full action as his non-bowling arm remained unmoved and he completed the run-up by releasing the ball on his left foot.

Earlier in the year, Ashwin made headlines when he 'mankaded' Jos Buttler during the Indian Premier League.
