Once Upon A Time In Hollywood premiere: Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt hit red carpet in Los Angeles

Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood stars have hit the red carpet for the blockbuster's premiere in Los Angeles.

Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt were among actors in the hotly-anticipated film out for the glitzy event on Monday night.

They were joined by the hit movie's director Quintin Tarantino, and other stars who gathered for the bash including pop singer Britney Spears.

Tarantino’s upcoming film also stars the likes of Al Pacino, James Marsden, Sydney Sweeney, Zoë Bell, Lena Dunham, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning and Michael Madsen.

The A-list cast also included Luke Perry. The film was his last feature before his death in March.

Set in 1969 Hollywood in an alternate timeline, the blockbuster is described has having "multiple storylines in a modern fairy tale tribute to the final moments of Hollywood's golden age."

It follows Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) as he struggles with alcoholism over his dwindling career alongside his best friend and stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt).

Meanwhile Sharon Tate (Robbie) and her husband Roman Polanski move in next door to Dalton. After a working trip to Rome, Booth begins a relationship with a member of the Manson Family.
