Volkswagen Middle East releases official film to showcase experience and to celebrate 200-days-to-go for Dub Drive GCC 2020.

After proudly representing the region at Wõrthersee Treffen, the world’s largest Volkswagen gathering and GTI Meet, Volkswagen Middle East releases official film to showcase experience and to celebrate 200-days-to-go for Dub Drive GCC 2020.

On a truly global stage and showcasing the biggest Middle Eastern presence to date, local club members had the opportunity to present their cars to international players and audiences from across Europe, Australia, China, Malaysia, Canada, South Africa and the US. A uniquely modified GTI featuring Polynesian tattoo art with one-of-a-kind fine tuning and bodywork from Oman, was shipped into the international event. Belonging to Muntaser Al Barwani from the Oman Volkswagen Club, the car was part of a 8 car line up on the main stage, offering great exposure for the Middle Eastern club scene.

Muntasar Barwani, Dub Drive GCC organiser and Volkswagen Owner said: “As a customer it is a priviledge to have been apart of this fantastic experience in Europe, and myself and the rest of the customer team are thriving to make our next regional event even bigger and better than ever before. With only 200 days to go, we have a lot of work, but working in this great cross-market team is what makes it so special.”

It is this same dedication, passion and excitement which continue to bring together so many enthusiasts around the Middle East and beyond to the region’s largest automotive gathering – Dub Drive GCC 2020. Volkswagen Middle East, along with it’s clubs and dealers are excited to welcome more international clubs to the region to attend the annual Dub Drive GCC on 7-8 Feb 2020.

Background Information

Volkswagen Middle East

Volkswagen’s relationship with the Middle East dates back to when the first Beetle was sold here many years ago. Since then, the brand has witnessed an exponential expansion. In 2005 Volkswagen, Europe’s largest car manufacturer, confirmed its commitment to its customers and partners in the region with the opening of the Volkswagen Middle East Regional Office based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This initiative has allowed the brand to introduce a wider variety of Volkswagen models to the region and strengthen their dedication to their patrons.
