Plans for multiple weddings are in question after a local venue announced it is closing.Noah’s Event Venue, located at 12451 Plantside Drive, is set to close on Aug. 12, according to an email it sent to customers.According to the email, the venue was unable to reach an agreement with the landlord. Events before Aug. 12 won't be affected and will continue on as planned, the email said. Anyone who had an event scheduled after Aug. 12 is eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, this location will be closing on Aug. 12. You should have received an email with further details. If you didn’t receive an email, please send a message to louisville@noahseventvenue.com. The staff at the local venue will not be able to provide further information. We ask that you please not stop by the venue or call other Noah’s locations as they are unable to answer questions. Please follow the instructions provided to ensure you have all the details for your event. If you're trying to run a successful business, regardless of good or bad times, you need to notify people," said Heather Higgenbotham, who planned her wedding at the venue.WLKY reached out to Noah's Event Venue for comment. They responded by saying, in part:"We are deeply saddened and heartbroken that our landlord rejected our lease offers and that the Louisville venue will be forced to close. We are grateful for the opportunity we had to be a part of so many meaningful events in Louisville."
