Last week, we brought you news of a Zara dress that's become so popular, it's got its very own Instagram account. Now, fashion bloggers and shoppers alike are bringing us a fresh take on the same dress, making the viral trend look brand new again.

To refresh your memory, this is the dress in question:

Whether they're over seeing everyone wearing the same thing, or just feel like putting their own personalised spin on the lewk, fashion bloggers are now dyeing the dress a slew of different colours. And the results are kind of amazing.

Inspired by @clothesmyboyfriendhates, who decided to change the white dress to a cute af fairy floss pink hue, a host of others have now followed suit, opting to get crafty with the piece.

"Turned *that* Zara dress he hates into... a dress he still hates," writes @clothesmyboyfriendhates. "It’s not a hospital gown anymore though (swipe across to see before when it was!)... I’ve written a blog post on reinventing the dress and how I did it, using buttons from @johnlewisandpartnersand dye from @dylon_uk"

Others have selected slightly subtler tones, like khaki green and grey, which completely transform the dress:

"I’ve had a lot of messages and comments about my #thatzaradress and dyeing it," writes another. "So here’s a pic up of the new colour and a pic of the before. I dyed it with @dylon_uk machine dye in Olive. It worked a treat, but the stitching will stay white due to the fabric of the thread.

"I got the idea from the lovely Olivia from @clothesmyboyfriendhates who dyed hers pale pink. Mine was looking a bit tired and I’m a spiller so was always scared of dropping food down it 😆 I am tempted to buy another and keep it white - what is it about this dress? It has mystical powers, I’m sure of it! ""

"I love this dress, it feels nice on, but it’s white with black spots. I don’t really wear much white, and certainly not white dresses. I feel it makes me look bigger than I am, and I’m also fairly pale, fake tan aside. But I still purchased the dress, I’ve worn it a couple of times. Of course the other issue is, everyone owns it too!"

"I had considered [dying it] black, but love the spots so didn’t really want to loose them. So I decided on grey, it’s a little darker than I expected but I love it. I think I’ll wear this dress a whole lot more more now, and as a darker colour makes me feel better in it too."

Pretty neat idea, right? Saves ya having to buy a brand new dress, which is also a win/win for the environment and your bank account. Plus, we're all about recycling/personalising outfits to make them feel more 'you'.
