Unsafe illegal structures in Sarita Vihar

It is just recently that we came across news that an illegal four-storey structure that the authorities did not “notice coming up” due to its location on a five-foot lane in Old Delhi. We have several illegal constructions happening in DDA SFS Sarita Vihar, which falls under the high risk seismic zone. This photo is from an ongoing illegal construction at flat numbers E87 and E86, Sarita Vihar, on the main road, close to the police booth.The owner of E87 has put all residents at risk by illegally expanding their three-bedroom duplex. We as citizens feel helpless at such mindless expansion at the cost of the safety of the residents of the block.
