‘Mere liye aap ne kabhi aawaz nahin uthayi’: Ajaz Khan to Owaisi

Mumbai: Actor Ajaz Khan questioned Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi for not raising voice in his support despite the fact that cases were registered against him. He posed the same question to other Muslim leaders including Mr. Azam Khan, Mr. Abu Aasim.

Claiming that he and Mr. Owaisi are fighting for the same cause, the actor questioned MP’s silence on the issue.

He alleged that Mr. Owaisi raised voice for Kanhaiya Kumar, however, the MP remained silent for him.

He further said, “Asad Bhai, Mai Aapki Badi Taqat Bansakta Hoon” (Asad Bhai, I can be source of strength for you).

In another video, he praised Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister, Mr. Amit Shah.

The actor can be seen talking about the acquittal of five Muslims. He said that BJP cannot be held responsible for the injustice done against the men as the party was not in power when they were arrested. ‘Congress is answerable for it’, the actor added.

It may be mentioned that earlier, the actor was arrested by Cyber Crime Police of Mumbai for allegedly creating and uploading “objectionable” videos “promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, etc., and creating hatred among public at large”.

A case was registered against him under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code.
