Talking about the industrial fortes of Aurangabad, Simon said that he was stunned at the quality of factory and highly educated workforce at Shendra based plant of engine manufacturer Perkins. Aurangabad has engineering and manufacturing of 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers and a number of companies producing auto components, he said.
