On cam: Lioness duo drag and feast upon prey inside haveli in Amreli

In an unusual incident, two lionesses were captured on CCTV, feasting upon a cow they had killed, within the courtyard of a haveli at Amreli’s Katar village. Although it is not unusual for lions and leopards to visit the village, it was for the first time that the big cats decided to feast within a residence in full public view. The haveli is home to a family of seven, fortunately, all members were asleep at the time and no confrontation with the lionesses was reported.
