FROM HIVE TO HONEY: WVUA 23 TAGS ALONG FOR BEEKEEPING HARVEST (PART 1)

WVUA 23 Chief Meteorologist Richard Scott might spend a good chunk of his day monitoring the weather from inside, but he’s also a big fan of the outdoors.

When he’s not at work, one of his major hobbies is beekeeping, and this week he’s taken along a WVUA 23 videographer so we could document how his bees produce their honey.

Donning protective suits, Scott and his father offered WVUA 23 Videographer Keith Dobbins an up close and person look at the bees’ hives and their honey stores ready for harvest.
