Mumbai train services on 3 suburban corridors affected on Sunday due to megablocks, derailment

MUMBAI: Services on all three suburban corridors will be affected due to megablocks and derailment on the Central Railway Main line.
The rail block will affect the CSMT and Chunabhatti/Bandra route from 11.10am to 4.10pm. Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi will remain suspended from 9.53am to 2.44pm and Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Goregaon/Bandra will remain suspended from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm.
However, the special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block.

The Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00am to 6.00 pm during the block.
Due to the megablock, Kalyan-Thane Up fast line from 11.20 am to 3.50 pm has been cancelled. The train services are still affected due to the derailment of a freight train during the wee hours.
A jumbo block of five hours will be taken from 10.35am to 3.35pm on Up and Down slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations on Western Railway for maintenance of track, signals and overhead equipment. During the block, Up and Down slow line trains will run on lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations.
