One person was taken to hospital with "potential back injuries" following a crash in Towyn .
Paramedics, firefighters and police were called to Gors Road at around 1.30pm on Wednesday after a two-vehicle crash.
Fire crews had to cut one person free from a vehicle, while two others were described as "walking wounded".
One of the vehicles involved was left badly damaged on its side after the crash.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two crews from Rhyl attended the scene and the crews extricated one casualty, with two others walking wounded.
"The casualty had potential back injuries."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman added: "We were called at approximately 1.27pm to reports of a road traffic accident involving two vehicles on Gors Road, Towyn .
"We responded with two emergency ambulances.
"One patient was transported to Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan.”
Police blocked off the road while emergency services helped the casualties and the vehicles were recovered.
