The film starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles and was both a commercial as well as critical success.
Sharing the special video, Kriti captioned, "Comfort zone is great, but nothing really grows there..i’m glad i got a chance to step out of it 2years back.. Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari also took to her social media handles to share a few BTS pictures from the sets and thank the audience as the film completes two years today. Sharing the pictures, the director wrote, "Captioning the picture, the 39-year old wrote, "Thank you for showering so much of love and encouraging my storytelling dear audience and cinema lovers. I am because of you. Many more stories to weave and learn for a lifetime. Next is #Panga :)."

Ayushmann Khurana too remembered the good times on the film's second anniversary. The National Award-winning actor commented saying "Time Flies".
