Bihar: NSUI Bhojpur district president shot at in Ara

ARA: NSUI Bhojpur district president Manish Singh alias Duldul and his friend Appu Singh were shot at by two bike-borne assailants at Pir Baba road under Nawada police station limits in Bihar's Ara on Sunday morning.
The NSUI district president and his two friends were going towards the Nawada police station when the assailants coming from the opposite side shot at them. The incident occurred close to the official residences of the Bhojpur DM and some judicial officers.
Singh's other friend who was riding the bike had a narrow escape.Both the seriously injured persons were rushed to a private hospital, situated at Babu Bazar locality. While Manish sustained three bullet injuries, his friend had received two bullets. Initially, the doctor said that their condition was very serious, but later they were operated upon successfully and now they are out of danger.
The Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar who visited the private hospital told the media persons, "After the initial inquiry, the reason behind the incident seems to be a family dispute regarding the division of some property. We have got the CCTV footage and the efforts are on to identify the culprits. The police will soon nab the culprits."
Later talking to the journalists, the NSUI district president said, "We have some property dispute and I have given an application (complaint) in this regard to the Nawada police station."
While Manish Singh is a resident of Mathwaliya village under the Mufassil police station and at present lives near the Shahid Bhawan, his injured friend Appu Singh, a resident of Pipra village under the Dhobahan OP of the Bhojpur district stays at Babu Bazar in Ara.
