Australia's Got Talent

Seven, 7pm

"What am I watching?" judge Nicole Scherzinger asked during last week's episode, when a Taiwanese entertainer climbed inside his giant red balloon, while fellow judge Manu Feildel literally bounced around in pleasure. Finding the weird and wonderful is this show's adolescent sweet spot, and this week guest judge Joel Creasey, and his "golden buzzer", will join the search.

Glitch

ABC, 9.30pm

A paranormal mystery with a distinctly Australian rural backdrop of fading towns, Anzac memorials and country roads that invariably lead to clues and confrontations, Glitch has found its niche. Some new characters may have inexplicably risen from the dead for the third season, replacing a body count that has gotten serious as science and the supernatural intertwine, but the show has an agreeable rhythm of mystery and partial explanation. At the centre of it is Patrick Brammall's police officer, James Hayes, who is now both traumatised and a new father, and there's a wider physical scope – but not thematic – to what is the final season. If you want to catch up, both ABC iView and Netflix have the first two seasons.
