Robert De Niro's company sues Friends addict

Robert De Niro and his production company partners are suing a former executive for allegedly bilking them of over $3 million and spending the cash on trips and dogsitters.

In legal documents, filed in the Manhattan Supreme Court, Chase Robinson, who rose up through Canal Productions after starting out as the movie star’s personal assistant, is also accused of watching 55 episodes of sitcom Friends and hours and hours of Netflix films at work.

Robinson reportedly quit her position as Vice President of Production & Finance in April amid suspicions about her “honesty, integrity, work ethic and motivation,” according to the documents, obtained by Page Six.

Her fellow executives then conducted a review of their books and allegedly discovered she had plundered De Niro’s frequent flyer miles for personal trips and used the company’s American Express card on vacations, iPhones, Uber rides, a Louis Vuitton handbag, dogsitters and dinners.
