Aditya Roy Kapur heads to Mysuru after Sadak 2 Ooty schedule
After wrapping up Ooty schedule of Sadak 2 recently, Aditya Roy Kapur is headed to Mysuru for the next schedule of the film.
Aditya Roy Kapur, who is juggling between the sets of his upcoming films Malang and Sadak 2 for the past few months, will now head to Mysuru for the next schedule of the Alia Bhatt film. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Alia and Sanjay Dutt in the remake of the 1991 film Sadak. Mahesh Bhatt, the director of the 1991 film, is also directing the remake.
The team of the film, including Alia Bhatt, was recently in Ooty to shoot some important scenes. Aditya will be joined by Makarand Deshpande and Gulshan Grover. Talking about the Mysuru schedule, a source close to the development told Mid-day, "Some very crucial scenes are going to be shot in the Mysore schedule. Right now, Aditya, Gulshan and Makarand are shooting but Alia Bhatt might join the cast in Mysore later."
Earlier, in July this year, Aditya shared a picture of himself with Mahesh Bhatt. Calling the director ringmaster, the actor announced the commencement of shooting. He wrote, "A new beginning with the ringmaster @maheshfilm."
After wrapping up the Ooty schedule, Alia Bhatt wrote a heartfelt note for his father and director of the film. Sharing a picture of herself with her father, Mahesh Bhatt, Alia wrote, "Schedule wrap... My not so old man has more energy than the whole crew put together. Love you daddy...until next time."
Sadak 2 will see Mahesh Bhatt's return to the director's chair after almost two decades. The filmmaker's last film as a director was Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala's Kartoos, which was released in 1999.
In September last year, Sadak actress Pooja Bhatt announced her father Mahesh Bhatt's comeback as a director with Sadak 2. She shared a promo video on Twitter, in which Alia can be heard humming in the background.

Sadak 2 also stars Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Jisshu Sengupta, Priyanka Bose and Akshay Anand. It is scheduled to release on July 10, 2020.
