Bihar: Advocate shot dead near civil court in Buxar

BUXAR: An advocate was shot dead by unidentified armed persons near the civil court in Bihar's Buxar district while he was returning home from court work on Wednesday.
Chitranjan Singh was also Sarpanch of Jagdishpur panchayat under Muffasil police station of the district.
According to the police, already two murder cases are registered against deceased advocate and he was jailed too in the past.
The incident occurred at around 4pm this evening when four persons intercepted him outside the court campus and fired indiscrimanetely while he was to return to his village Jagdishpur.
The advocate succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Advocates of the civil court protested against the killing and decided to boycott court work on Thursday.
