Parts of Noida, east Delhi witness moderate rain

NOIDA: Parts of Noida and east Delhi witnessed moderate rain on Friday. The sudden downpour in the afternoon brought much-needed respite from hot and humid weather conditions.
Earlier, it was a partly cloudy morning in the national capital, with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, the MeT department said.
On Thursday, high humidity gave a hard time to Delhiites as rains continued to evade most parts of the city.
The city recorded a high of 36.4 degrees Celsius, two notches more than normal, and a low of 28.3 degrees Celsius. The humidity levels shot up to 91% during the day.
