Alumni donate four e-autos to NIT Warangal
Warangal: NIT Warangal received four battery-operated e-autos on Friday. The donation was made by the Alumni Association, Delhi chapter.
NIT Warangal alumni association president Aravind Jauhari handed over the e-autos to NV Ramana Rao, director, NIT Warangal. Each vehicle costs Rs 1.5 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Jauhari said, the vehicles had been given to mark NIT’s diamond jubilee year.

Ramana Rao said the NIT is committed to environmental sustainability. “These vehicles will be used by students, staff, visitors of NIT Warangal to move around from one point to the other inside campus.”
The auto is battery operated and once charged it can go up to 80km.
