Sun chaser Arjun Vajpai accepts the #GoMonster on one charge challenge: From Dong Valley to Kutch, in ONE battery life!
Samsung’s epic #GoMonster on one charge challenge has been the talk of the town for all the exciting reasons! Over the last few days, we have been following venturesome actor Amit Sadh’s thrilling Monster Trail that featured a hair-raising ride from Leh to Pangong Tso to Hanle in ONE CHARGE of the 6000 mAh battery of the Samsung Galaxy M30s.

After blazing through the Himalayas, Sadh has challenged another thrill seeker- Arjun Vajpai, to take the baton forward.Vajpai, who scaled the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, when he was barely 17-years-old is an undisputed adventure junkie. And guess what, he has gone on to accept the dare! Arjun is game on for the second leg of Samsung’s #GoMonster on one charge challenge, and trust us, the adrenaline rush is going to be of enormous proportions!

For someone like Arjun, adventure is a way of life. What else explains the fact that in 2018 he became the youngest Indian to summit six peaks over 8,000 meters after reaching the summit of Mt. Kangchenjunga! While all of us wonder what makes this daredevil tick, this race will also give us a chance to experience some unadulterated fun on the run, as Arjun accepts Samsung’s #GoMonster on one charge challenge, chasing the Indian sun from the eastern mountains of Arunachal Pradesh to the west coast in Gujarat! And when we were looking for leads for a glimpse into this epic race against time, here’s what we chanced upon!

Now chasing a distance of more than 3,700 kilometers will be no mean feat! And to do so in ONE BATTERY LIFE of the Samsung Galaxy M30s, will scale things to epic proportions. After witnessing sunrise at the Dong Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, Arjun must dash to Gujarat to witness the sun set into the Arabian Sea. But with a phone that is equipped with a mighty 6000 mAh battery, it looks like the challenge is going to be of monster proportions. Soon-to-be-launched Samsung Galaxy M30s is packed to a punch with brilliant features and is set to take the tech world by storm. Before the big date, the brand is getting celebs to test its prowess through some exhilarating expeditions across the length and breadth of the country.

With the Samsung Galaxy M30s as his only companion, Arjun’s journey will flag off in Dong Valley in Arunachal Pradesh- one of India’s easternmost villages. Dong, is amongst the first places to experience sunrise in the country. It is so remote that it only appears as a giant patch of green on the satellite map!
As Arjun navigates ahead on his journey, he will have to brave crazy treks, rugged roads washed out by waterfalls, and maybe cross dizzying suspension bridges. What would make Arjun’s #GoMonster on one charge chase even more exciting is that he will only have his strong legs and public transport to rely on… This means he may take a longer time than what his itinerary would allow him to, draining his phone battery even further. Add to it, the generous dollops of scenic beauty of the region luring the photographer in him, to take more photos and videos, making him use the phone more than he could afford to!
After experiencing the sunrise at Dong, Arjun will trek back to Walong from where he has to journey back to Namsai through rickety public transport plying on mud-spattered roads. His expedition will then take him to a completely diverse topography, as he reaches Dibrugarh in Assam and chases time to catch his flight to Ahmedabad. Once in Ahmedabad, his chase to Kutch will ensue again on public transport as he prepares to catch the sunset by the Arabian sea. Now this means uninterrupted use of his phone for a few days on a single charge!
On one hand, it is the mammoth 6000mAh battery and on the other, is Arjun’s attempt to manage everything with the phone. From the device being his camera to a navigating system, the Samsung Galaxy M30s sure will have a lot of responsibilities to juggle as Arjun will rely heavily on his mate to take him from the far east to the far west of the country. The device, apart from its massive 6,000mAh battery, comes with a triple rear camera and the new Exynos processor, not seen on the four Galaxy M series smartphones launched so far. Well, with promising predecessors, the all-new Samsung Galaxy M30s appears to be ticking all the right boxes. Keep a close tab on Samsung.com or Amazon to get notified when this monster goes on sale!
To reveal any more would be to spoil the experience, so let’s wait and watch if the Samsung Galaxy M30s lives up to sun chaser Arjun’s monster journey against time, terrain, location, and of course, the unknown.
