Chhichhore box office collection Day 6: Sushant Singh Rajput film is unstoppable
Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor's film, Chhichhore, is doing good business at the box office. On its 6th day the film is expected to cross Rs 60-crore mark.
Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput's film, Chhichhore, has crossed the Rs 50-crore mark on Tuesday. Starting with a decent Rs 7.32 crore, the film earned Rs 12.32 crore and Rs 16.41 crore on Day 2 and Day 3, respectively. The film saw a little decline on Monday with a total collection of Rs 8.1 crore, but the Muharram holiday on Tuesday turned out to be a boon for the film as it collected Rs 10.05 crore on Day 5.
On Wednesday, Chhichhore earned Rs 7.01 crore taking the total numbers to Rs 61.33 crore. As expected, Onam holiday has proved to be beneficial for the film.

Starring Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Saharsh Kumar Shukla and Tushar Pandey in key roles, Chhichhore is a campus drama set in 90s and current times.The film reminds you of your college days as the characters explore friendship in hostel during an inter-college sports championship.They call themselves 'Losers', but they come out as winners in friendship.
Chhichhore is being sold as a film which will make you nostalgic about your good old college days and to some extent it succeeds in doing so. College friends getting busy in their work and personal life to reunite one day and recall the old times may remind you of your own story. Though comparing it with other classic campus dramas like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and 3 Idiots will disappoint you. Chhichhore is filled with some out-of-the-box and some clichéd punchlines which will transport you to your college life with your 'kamine' friends.
About the performance by the actors, IndiaToday.in's Vibha Maru writes, "College dramas like these require strong performances, with the story needing the lead actors help propel the film. But in Chhichhore, Sushant and Shraddha will leave you hanging. It's the film's supporting cast, a shoutout to Varun Sharma, that carries the burden of the entire film on their shoulders."
But despite mixed reviews from critics the film is doing good at the box office, which proves that the nostalgia factor is working. Chhichhore is definitely a great family watch.
