Share market update: NBFC stocks advance; Repco Home Finance gains 6%

NEW DELHI: Shares of nonbanking financial companies (NBFC) were trading with gains in Thursday's afternoon session.

Shares of Repco Home Finance (up 6.16 per cent) , Indiabulls Ventures (up 6.16 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 5.82 per cent), VLS Finance (up 5.55 per cent) , Garnet International (up 4.91 per cent) , Edelweiss Financial Services (up 3.82 per cent), Magma Fincorp (up 2.95 per cent) , Alps Motor Finance (up 2.94 per cent) , DHFL (up 2.85 per cent) , Reliance Home (up 2.12 per cent) , Capri Global Capital Ltd (up 2.11 per cent) and Muthoot Capital Services (up 2 per cent) were trading with gains.

LIC Housing Finance (up 1.86 per cent) , Reliance Capital (up 1.67 per cent) , Coral India Finance & Housing (up 1.60 per cent) , HDFC (up 1.41 per cent) , Centrum Capital (up 1.41 per cent) , GRUH Finance (up 1.39 per cent) , Shriram City Union Finance (up 1.12 per cent) , Mas Financial Services (up 0.87 per cent) , PNB Housing Finance (up 0.77 per cent) , Can Fin Homes (up 0.72 per cent) , Shriram Transport Finance (up 0.59 per cent) , HUDCO (up 0.53 per cent) and SRG Housing Finance (up 0.44 per cent) too were trading higher.

Meanwhile, SREI Infrastructure Finance (down 9.18 per cent) , AIIL (down 4.72 per cent) , India Home Loan (down 4.15 per cent) , Ind Bank Housing (down 3.17 per cent) , Sahara Housing (down 2.48 per cent) , GIC Housing Finance (down 2.14 per cent) , Sakthi Finance (down 1.43 per cent) , Sundaram Finance (down 1.20 per cent) and Paisalo Digital (down 1.05 per cent) were trading lower.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 16.05 points down at 11,019.65 while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 29.98 points at 37,240.84 at around 02:07 pm.

Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 5.71 per cent) , Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 3.26 per cent) , UltraTech Cement (up 2.76 per cent) , ICICI Bank (up 2.45 per cent) and Hindalco Industries (up 1.81 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Motors (down 4.50 per cent) , YES Bank (down 3.98 per cent) , Maruti Suzuki India (down 2.55 per cent) and Eicher Motors (down 2.31 per cent) were trading in the red.
